ABOUT
Facts over Fear was an anti-islamophobia campaign led by an interfaith group MAPS. They aimed at creating a multipart educational series teaching the public about Muslims to halt fear-mongering and highlight their achievements that have helped society. As a nonprofit, they came to my team with bigger aspirations than they had budgeted for. We took the time to work closely with them to help them reach attainable goals.
Role
As a creative director, it was my job to guide the team to develop the look of the project that would help fit the client's vision of the video series. I crafted simplistic characters and sets to illustrate the thematic teachings of the educational video series while respecting cultural boundaries. We used a number of Adobe After Effect plugins to help speed up the animation process
Results
Within a month of the video series being released by MAPS. They were able to raise an additional 300% in funds larger than what they had originally contracted my team for, thus cementing the success of the Facts Over Fear campaign.
